The Glafkos plain aquifer (25 Km2) is located in the Southwestern part of Greece (Peloponnesus) and is formed by alluvial deposits. Unconsolidated alluvial sediments with silty and clayey intercalations are dispersed throughout the Glafkos plain, especially in the coastal area.
